Within the framework of the Specialized Academic Network for Technical Cooperation in support of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), the Coalition for Academic Freedom in the Americas (CLAA or Coalition) submits its second monitoring report on the main infringements on academic freedom and university autonomy in the Americas. This report covers the period from November 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023. In addition to the case compilation, this report offers an analysis of trends that helps identify the main situations affecting academic freedom and university autonomy in the Americas.
