The meeting took place in Bogota, Colombia, where CLAA also participated in a talk on gender.
CAFA calls on states and on higher-education authorities to protect and promote academic freedom and institutional autonomy across the Americas, taking all available measures to ensure a safe space for the free and open exchange of ideas on campus.
CAFA took part in the International Science Council’s Global Knowledge Dialogue for Latin America and the Caribbean in April 2024.
