CAFA was present at the 2024 Conference of the Comparative International Education Society (CIES), which took place in Miami from March 10 to 14.
This year’s theme was The Power to Protest, and the problematic of academic freedom and autonomy was a recurring theme throughout. On Sunday, March 10, CAFA joined student, teachers, and activists in the March for Justice with Florida Educators, an act of solidarity and of protest against the grave attacks on academic freedom being perpetrated in that State.
