Greetings from the Coalition for Academic Freedom in the Americas (CAFA)!

The study we are launching aims to contribute, from a human rights perspective, to the current doctrinal studies being carried out on academic freedom and university autonomy, particularly in the Americas, and their implementation in the practice of higher education. It takes as a central reference the content of the Inter-American Principles on Academic Freedom and University Autonomy, identified and approved by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) in 2021. The study proposes some guidelines and lines of action that can orient authorities, as well as higher education institutions, for the effective implementation of the Principles.

The webinar will be in Spanish with English translation available.
